King Khalid University Hosts the 24th Meeting of Student Affairs Deans in Saudi Universities

The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, inaugurated the 24th meeting of the Committee of Deans of Student Affairs in Saudi universities, which is hosted by the university, with the participation of all Deans of Student Affairs in the kingdom, at the university city in Al-Far'a.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Acting President of King Khalid University welcomed the university's guests, the Deans of Student Affairs, and stressed the importance and role of the Committee of Deans of Student Affairs.

The Deans of Student Affairs reviewed various topics of mutual interest, and discussed the previous meeting of the Agents of the Deanship of Student Affairs, which was hosted by King Abdulaziz University last February, as well as discussing the works of the initiatives and programs team from the Ministry of Culture.

Various Memorandums of Presentation were discussed, including:

  • MOP submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Tabuk.

  • "Iftar with Us" initiative MOP, submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University.

  • Electronic activity platform MOP, submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

  • The student activity experience MOP, submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at Taibah University.

  • "Muhtam" student system initiative MOP, submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at King Khalid University.

  • Comprehensive system experience MOP, submitted by the Dean of Student Affairs at the Islamic University.

In turn, the President of the Committee of Deans of Student Affairs in its current session and Dean of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, Dr. Ali bin Mosfer Al-Qahtani, welcomed the Deans of Student Affairs to King Khalid University, and expressed his gratitude to the Acting President of King Khalid University for his support.

Al-Qahtani added that the committee, through continuous meetings, seeks to achieve common goals and develop the professional and organizational performance of Deanships across Saudi universities through exchanging expertise, emphasizing the importance of integration among the Deanships.
