The Governor of Asir and the head of its development authority, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, directed the Asir branch of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to launch traffic at the intersection linking King Khalid University and Abha International Airport to facilitate the arrival of male and female students to the university.

The bridge is considered one of the most important traffic facilitators that will ease traffic movement, resolve traffic congestion at the intersection, and provide a smooth flow of movement for residents of the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait to and from King Khalid University.

The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, expressed his deep gratitude to His Royal Highness, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, for all his efforts that serve the region and the university and embody his care and support of the people of the region and the university’s employees and students.
