The Deanship of E-Services at King Khalid University concluded the "Tech Evenings" Ramadan program, with over 10,000 beneficiaries. The program was held from 7-18 of Ramadan, and was part of a series of training programs on emerging technologies, within the initiatives of Ajaweed 2 and the Mobaderoon 5 programs.
The "Tech Evenings" program included several training programs in the fields of augmented and virtual reality, WEB 3, cybersecurity, robotics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 3D printing, blockchain, Internet of Things, and drones.
On his end, The Dean of the Deanship of E-Services, Dr. Hamed Al-Qahtani, explained that the program aims to elevate the level of digital awareness among students, employees, faculty members, and all members of society, while for his part, the Vice-Dean of the Deanship of E-Services for E-Learning, Dr. Adel Al Sarae’, explained that this initiative aims to empower and enrich digital Arabic content and digital communities through a participatory program that enriches skills and capabilities, enhances digital content, develops technical skills, and prepares cadres for a promising career in technology.
Al Sarae’ added that the number of registered students reached 18,631, while the number of beneficiaries reached 10,207 beneficiaries, 53% of which were students , 19% were employees in the government sector, 16% were teachers, 7% were faculty members, and 5% were from the general public. He stressed that these continuous efforts come to enhance education and provide opportunities for all to acquire knowledge and skills in the advanced world of technology.
