King Khalid University organized a workshop entitled "Automated Early Warning System Updates" in collaboration with the National Meteorology Center, which Vice-President of Educational and Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam attended.

Abdulrahman bin Atiyah Al-Zahrani, The Director of the Emergency and Early Warning Administration at the National Meteorology Center, highlighted aspects of the system updates alongside representatives from the center.

Representatives from the Governorate of Asir attended the workshop, as well as the General Directorate of Civil Defense, educational authorities, and others at the University City in Al-Fara'a.

It is worth noting that His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, recently issued an administrative order to form a "Weather conditions and Fluctuations Committee".
