King Khalid University Wins Gold and Silver Medals at International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX 23)

In a new international achievement, King Khalid University won the gold and silver medals during its participation in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX 23), which is being held from May 7 to May 14, in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
In more detail, Hasel Bin Muhammad Al-Asmari, a student at KKU pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, won the gold medal for the exhibition, where his success was a result of the Camel Eyes project, which aims to improve traffic safety on highways by utilizing artificial intelligence.
Moreover, student Nayef bin Ali Al-Qahtani, who is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at the university's Faculty of Engineering, won the silver medal at the same event for his project to create graphene oxide for supercapacitors.
Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Aziman, Director of the university's Creativity, Giftedness & Entrepreneurship Center, congratulated the two students and lauded their efforts, emphasizing that this achievement is a testament to the support, care, and attention that the Kingdom accords to education and is a step toward King Khalid University's goal of achieving global competitiveness, which is one of the cornerstones of the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
