On its Final Day, The Second International Conference for Teachers Holds 4 Workshops and Discusses 15 Papers

The Second International Conference of the Saudi Scientific Society for Teachers, "JISM", organized by King Khalid University, concluded its second and final day, which featured 4 training workshops and 15 research papers across 5 sessions and was held under the title "Teacher and Good Education" at the Conference Center In the University City in Al-Fara’a.
The conference sessions began on its second and final day, which was moderated by Dr. Ahmed bin Khadran Al-Omari, with a discussion session, in which Dr. Badr bin Shuja’ Al-Harbi, participated in a paper on “Professional Development for Educational Employees” in addition to a scientific paper entitled “Improving the quality of education in light of the professional empowerment of male and female teachers.” presented by Dr. Saud Al-Salahi, and a third paper titled "Teacher and Good Education for the Gifted Student" by Dr. Khaled Al-Sharif.
The second session of the conference, moderated by the Director of Education in Sarat Abidah Governorate, started by Dr. Hassan Al-Alami, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghafiri, and Teacher Asmaa Al-Qahtani, presenting a scientific paper entitled "The educational role of the primary school teacher in enhancing students' self-learning skills." followed by a paper entitled "A Proposal for Activating the Role of Productive Schools in Financing Student Activities in Public Education Schools in the Kingdom" by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zahrani, Prof. Fahd Al-Otaibi, and Prof. Abdullah Al-Qahtani. Further, A PhD researcher, Ms. Afrah Abu Owa, presented a paper on "The Effectiveness of Teaching Science Using Educational Games in Modifying Alternative Perceptions of 7th Grade Students.", in addition to a paper titled " The level of using the Internet of Things in the development of educational institutions from the point of view of teachers" by master's student at Jazan University, Rabab Malhawi.
The following session, which was moderated by Assistant Director of Education for Educational Affairs in Al-Namas Governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Amri, witnessed a paper entitled "The Role of the Teacher in Developing Critical Thinking Skills in Light of the Efforts of Muslim Scholars" presented by Dr. Aqel bin Abdulaziz Aqel, a paper on "The Degree of Using Synchronous Virtual Classrooms for Science Teachers for Elementary Education in Al-Qassim Region from their Point of View" by Prof. Radi Al-Zuwaid, and concluded with discussion on “A Comparative Study of Teacher Preparation and Professional Development in the Kingdom in the Light of Some International Experiences.” presented by Mr. Al-Hassan Al-Hazmi and Ms. Fatima Al-Hazmi.
The ninth and final session moderated by the Director of Education in Sabya Governorate, Professor Othman Musmali included a number of papers: a paper on "The extent to which faculty members at King Khalid University possess indicators of psychological well-being and their relative contribution to predicting citizenship behavior practices." by , Dr. Saleh Al-Khathami, a paper by Dr. Abdullah Al-Homaidah, entitled "The Degree of Islamic Education Teachers' Practice of 21st Century Skills from the Point of View of Teachers and Supervisors", in addition to Dr. Nada Al-Hajji's paper entitled "The Effectiveness of the Treffinger Model for Teaching Science on Developing Metacognitive Thinking Skills and Self-Efficacy among Female Students of the College of Education.", a paper discussing "The role of the educational professional community in enhancing the teaching competencies of female Arabic language teachers at secondary education in the light of the 21st century skills from their point of view" by Ms. Afnan Masoud, and a paper by Teacher Fatima Al-Subaie, titled "Improving the performance of government primary integration programs in Riyadh in the light of knowledge management processes”
The last day of the conference witnessed the holding of 4 training workshops, 2 of which were held onsite, discussing “Methods of Teaching Sustainable Development” presented by Dr. Fatima Asiri, and the workshop “Using Visual Thinking Strategies to Achieve Good Learning” by Dr. Hala Al-Nafi’i. The other 2 online workshops included "The Road to Differentiated Instruction" by Dr. Samia Al-Maghrabi, and the "Creativity in the Teaching of the Twenty-First Century Teacher" workshop by Dr. Reem Al-Hamyani.
