Under the Patronage of His Excellency KKU President, the University Holds the College of Humanities Second Postgraduate Forum

On Wednesday, May 3rd, under the patronage of His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, the activities of the College of Humanities' 2nd Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Forum under this years theme "Scientific Research: Mechanisms and Experiments" were held in the university theater in Al-Fara'a.
Three sessions were held during the forum, first of which featured two scientific papers titled "My Experience in Patents" and "My Experience in Distinguished Scientific Publishing," while the second and third sessions were presented by college members under the topic "Scientific Research: Mechanisms and Experiments.
In his speech at the forum's opening, Dr. Khaled Abu Hikma, Dean of the College of Humanities, affirmed that this forum is an extension of previous forums held by the college in a variety of humanities fields with the goal to strengthen the college's most important role in supporting scientific research, which is a strategic goal of the college and one of the university's desired outcomes.
Abu Hikma added that the forum aimed to serve and advance scientific research by supporting researchers, developing scientific research mechanisms, enhancing its presence, and keeping abreast of everything new in this field. In addition to motivating postgraduate students to develop their research methods, as well as making their research work stand out, and exchange experiences with professors and researchers.
Abu Hikma concluded his speech by expressing his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency for his support, continuous guidance, and his efforts to the success of this forum. He also thanked the Deanship of Graduate Studies, the Vice Agency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university, the researchers who participated in the forum, and all of the attendees who totaled more than 400.
