KKU Receives Recognition at the Closing of the Qemam International Festival for Mountain Performance Arts

The CEO of the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, Sultan Al-Bazei, honored
King Khalid University as one of the participating parties in the Qemam International
Festival, which was recently concluded at the University Theater in Guraiger.
The Vice President for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin
Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, received an honorary shield to commemorate King Khalid
University participation in the event. On his part, he stressed that the university is
keen to participate in various national events and programs to support initiatives,
which would achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.


The festival witnessed the participation of international performance teams, in
addition to presenting 14-panel discussions and workshops for local and Arab
specialist speakers, as well as shops, activities of the heritage village, children's
theater, mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and other activities.

It is worth noting, that the University Theater in Guraiger, hosted the launch of the
festival through a singing concert by the artist Najwa Karam, as well as another
singing concert in the closing ceremony of the festival, which was performed by the
artist Khaled Abdulrahman.
