On Tuesday the 13 of December and in the presence of His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Students Affairs and the Special Needs Center, celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the university city in Al Qura’a.

The event included an exhibition organized by government agencies and non profit entities dedicated to personas with disabilities to spread awareness and educate visitors on the needs and obstacles of persons with disabilities in our society.

During the event his Excellency the University President, stressed our duty towards empowering persons of disabilities, through means of education and professional employment trainings and by providing employment opportunities that suite their life style and capabilities . He added, that our wise leadership provides great care and attention to persons with disabilities and ensures they receive the support they need. His Excellency then commended the event activities, exhibition and participants and thanked those who contributed to its success.
