King Khalid University participates in the "Aseer Supports the National Team"
initiative launched by the Aseer Region Development Authority by providing
locations to broadcast the national team's matches in the 2022 World Cup, which
kicked off on November 21st in Qatar. In addition, the university is being adorned
with green lights on its buildings and promoting this initiative via media outlets, as
well as implementing a communication strategy in this regard.

The university's participation comes from its belief in its duty to support the country's
representative in the World Cup, and its role towards society in everything that
supports its strategic plan, which is in line with Aseer Development Authority strategy
plan "Qimam wa Shyam".

On his part, the Dean of Student Affairs Deanship, Dr. Ali Al-Bassami, explained that
the deanship arranged 2 sites to stream the matches of the Saudi national team for
students and university employees, and they are the University City auditorium in Al-
Qar'aa for male students and Greger complex for Female Students. In fact, this
initiative has already started by broadcasting the match of our national team against
Argentina, which ended with a well-deserved win for our national team.

It is worth noting that the university welcomes all those wishing to watch the matches
of the national team from all members of the community at the University City
Auditorium in Al-Qar’aa.
