In his speech during the university AL Dar celebration, His Excellency the President of King
Khalid University Prof. Faleh bin Raja Al-Solami, stressed that the university, on the
occasion of the 92 nd National Day, stands in its prime thanks to the support of the wise
leadership, which contributed to achieving many accomplishments in academic
administrative, and technological fields, and guided the university through the establishment
of its 2030 strategic plan, which is carried out by the sons and daughters of this country. He
also added that the university has reshaped its mission creating a strategic alignment plan
parallel to the region’s development strategy, which in return will reflect positively on the
university outcomes.

The dean of Student Affairs Deanship Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani said that the university is
embedded in the support and care the wise leadership – may Allah protect - devotes to the
education sector, which as a result aided the university in achieving its leading role in human
development. He pointed, that the university faculty members and students are going to
celebrate this occasion during the period from 25 to 29 September to express their devotion
and bond towards our country. This came during the university celebration of the 92 nd
National Day titled "Al Dar Celebration", which was held last night at Al-Qaraa campus and
was organized by the Student Affairs Deanship.

It is noteworthy that throughout this week, programs and activities will be held in all
university branches in celebration of the 92 nd National Day.
