University President Honors Corona Vaccine Center Representatives

His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, honored the health, technical and administrative staff, working in the Corona Vaccine Center in the outpatient clinics in the University’s Medical City, for their work in the field of immunization against the corona virus for university employees, the members of the general education sector and the community of Asir.

At the beginning of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of the University praised the efforts of the wise leadership in providing vaccines and immunization plans for citizens and residents in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that the Kingdom has recently announced immunizing 70% of Saudi citizens and residents, adding that the university is proud of the outpatient clinics and its staff for their hard work and devotion towards this cause.

On her part, the medical director of the outpatient clinics, Dr. Ghada Al-Nazi, affirmed the keenness of the employees of the Corona Vaccine Center at the university to provide immunization services to the fullest. She stressed that the center contributed to immunizing more than 50 thousand beneficiaries in the Asir region. She thanked the clinics staff for their efforts and the General Administration of Information Technology, the General Administration of Media and Relations at the university, and all parties for their efforts in organizing the centers work.

It is worth noting that the Corona Vaccine Center at King Khalid University is one of the first immunization centers affiliated with universities, established in the middle of last March, and is still providing immunization services to university employees and public education members as well as community members.
