King Khalid University concluded the Second International Conference for Mathematics and its Applications, which was organized by the Mathematics Department at the College of Science over a period of two days.

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, valued the interest that the conference received in its second edition from the Ministry of Education and the demand for participation and attendance from researchers, praising the participation and attention received in its 21.

The Head of the Mathematics Department at the College of Science, Dr. Mutaib Al-Ghamdi, thanked the President of the University and the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Ali Al-Shati, and the Chairman and members of the Scientific Committee for the great efforts that led to the success of the conference. He pointing to a number of recommendations and ideas that emerged from the conference, most prominent of which is working on expanding the circle of the upcoming conference and their scientific committees.

It’s worth noting, that the conference was launched last Tuesday morning, with the participation of a group of mathematicians from different countries of the world, and witnessed the attendance of an estimate of 2,000 people. The conference was held remotely, and was inaugurated through an attendance meeting witnessed by His Excellency the President and Vice President of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid Al-Qarni, and the employees of the Mathematics Department.
