University E learning Excels the 1442Ah Academic Education Statistics

The Deanship of E-Learning at King Khalid University issued a report on the educational operations that were carried out remotely during the second semester of the academic year 1442 AH, to more than 51200 students in various specializations and campuses of the university in Abha and the surrounding governorates of the Asir region.

The University Vice President of Academic Affairs , Prof. Dr. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, explained that the university is keen on implementing quality standards for the e-learning system , as well as providing guidelines and means of support, and hold many training courses and workshops for faculty members and students remotely.

On his part, the Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning at the University, Dr. Naif Jabali, explained that in light of the standards of the learning management system and virtual classes during the second semester of 1442 AH, the number of evaluations reached 2025286 and the number of discussion boards reached 144298, while the number of files reviewed reached 88958 and the number of virtual classroom sessions 147539.

In the field of technical support,Al - Jabali explained that the support operations exceeded 11 thousand operations with various means of support (phone, WhatsApp, e-mail, direct through the office, any-desk). The Deanship also prepared and published 9 guides for faculty members and students. As for training the Deanship implemented 27 courses for deans, college vice-presidents, department heads, faculty members, and male and female students.

The Deanship of E-Learning also supervised the implementation of 21 various seminars, with the a total number of beneficiaries reached 12,533 beneficiaries, in addition to 28,797 electronic tests, 795 oral exams 2,634 lab test 241 research and 271 projects. On the taken channel part the channel continued its efforts in providing educational services, with more than 63,275 views and total of 238 published videos.

It is worth noting that during the second semester of the university year the Deanship implemented a number of community initiatives and projects, believing in its community role , most prominent of which was the "Unique Learning" initiative, to raise awareness and educate on e-learning by teaching, qualifying and training them.
