University Holds a Number of Meetings on the Transition to the Three Class System

King Khalid University, represented by the Agency of Academic Affairs, recently held a number of meetings with the university’s colleges, and the concerned authorities to start implementing the three-year system, based on the Ministry of Education latest decision to convert the academic year into three semesters instead of two semesters.

The University Vice President of Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, explained the agency’s keenness to establish a set of meetings, workshops, and session through the Curriculum and Plans Unit, to introduce the vision of the Ministry of Education and the efforts of King Khalid University to transition to a three semester academic year system

Bin Dumjan confirmed that the agency discussed during their meetings a number of topics that aim to prepare the university colleges and departments to transition to three semesters, in addition to reforming students academic plans and learning approaches to aline with the new system.

Its worth mentioning that the university represented in the Academic Affairs agency continues to work towards preparing a model guide for the triple semester system, taking into account the implementation of the latest appropriate measures and evaluation methods to achieve distinct learning outcomes in all university programs.
