On Wednesday the 14th of April 2021, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, welcomed in his office the General Director of the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Water (Asir branch), Eng. Abdullah Al Waimani, and his accompanying delegation. Al Solami, welcomed the University's guests and commended the constructive cooperation between the Ministry and the University.

The University was honored by the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Water (Asir branch) for participating in many initiatives in Asir region during Environment Week.

Of note, the meeting was also attended by Dr. Rahma Grace Al Shahrani, the Director of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Research and Environmental Studies and Tourism
