Intellectual Awareness Unit Holds COVID-19 Awareness Talks

Under the patronage of His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, King Khalid University's Intellectual Awareness Unit will hold, on the 27th of Shaʿbān, an online symposium entitled "Legal and Health Awareness in the COVID-19 Pandemic Era". Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Khamis Mushait, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabaani, General Surgery Consultant at Asir Central Hospital, Dr. Gharama Al-Shehri, and Dr. Musaed Al-Sureiee, faculty member at the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, will each hold a session moderated by Dr. Saeed bin Motaib bin Kurdim from the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion.

The Intellectual Awareness Unit will also host a session, delivered by College of Education faculty member Dr. Dhafer Saeed Al-Hammad, entitled "Family and Community Awareness to Deal With the COVID-19 Pandemic". On Tuesday evening, Dr. Nora Al-Faifi, Al-Samir Campus Supervisor, will also host a session moderated by Deputy Supervisor of the Women's Intellectual Awareness Unit, Dr. Dwlaa Asiri.

Intellectual Awareness Unit Supervisor, Dr. Misfer bin Ahmed Al-Wadai, explained that the unit is supported by His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy, with an overarching objective to fulfill Vision 2030's affirmation of a moderate nation by strengthening a sense of patriotism and dedication to serving the national interest in all domains.
