His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, hosted the 8th Annual Health Awareness Program in Al Harajah. The program was sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Asir.

Rector Al-Solamy asserted that the health awareness program that is part of the university’s community service efforts to improve the lives of people in the region, commending everyone who participates in these community outreach programs.

Vice Rector for Business and Knowledge Creativity, Prof. Abdullatif Al-Hadathi, welcomed the attendees and thanked the Rector and His Royal Highness for their continued support. He also thanked everyone who makes the health campaigns a reality.

Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ajlan, provided a brief summary of the services offered under the health program and the huge number of the program beneficiaries by year.

Cultural Committee Head, Dr. Yaser Medeth, provided details concerning a number of services provided, and the participant training courses. He noted that there will be service provider training programs in the month of Rajab.
