Second Semester Internal Change Period for the 1439-40 Academic Year
First: Applying to Change Specializations (colleges):
Application Deadline:
Sunday 23/04/1440 AH to Wednesday 26/04/1440 AH.
General Conditions and Regulations:
- Applications will only occur through the electronic portal Academia (click here).
- The student must adhere to the stated dates - no manual request will be received.
- All the applications will be treated according to the capacity of the college and the candidate's GPA.
Examples:
- Changing from civil engineering to industrial engineering.
- Changing from the College of Administrative Sciences to the College of Engineering.
Specific Conditions:
- Students can apply only once for a transfer from one college to another and twice between departments of the same college.
- Students can have a maximum of three selections organized in accord with stated preferences.
- Students must have completed more than two semesters but not more than four semesters

Second: Applying to Change Campuses:
Example:
- Transferring from the Faculty of Computer Science in Tanomah to the Faculty of Computer Science in Abha.
Third: Applying to Change Study Type (From Affiliation to Regular):
Example:
Changing from Islamic studies affiliation to Islamic studies regularity.
Specific Conditions:
- The student's GPA must be at least 3 or above out of 5.
- Students must have completed more than two semesters but not more than six semesters

Forth: Applying to Change Degree from BA to Diploma
Application Deadline:
Sunday 12/02/1440 AH up to 28/04/1440 AH.
Specific Conditions:
- Applications will only occur through the electronic portal Academia (click here).
- The student must adhere to the stated dates -- no manual request will be received.
Example:
Changing from Bachelor's of Industrial Engineering to the Diploma of Business Administration.

Second Semester External Change Period for the 1439-40 Academic Year
Application Deadline:
From 14/3/1440 up to 25/4/1440
General Conditions and Regulations Include:
- The applicant must be a Saudi or of a Saudi Mother;
- All applications are subject to the department council and will be chosen according to GPA;
- Students must have a cumulative average of at least two semesters and not more than four semesters;
- Students must pass any test required by the department or college transferred to - if any.
Note:
- No application will be considered after 25/4/1440
Specific Conditions:
- Students must submit the application on the university website.
- All requirements must be completed on the designated platform (Click Here).
- Change application from the university website.
- A recent academic record - 'last academic semester'.
- A copy of the student high school diploma.
- Applicant must save the application online and print a hard copy.
Note:
The applicant's academic record must be updated after the end of the current semester to determine the academic GPA.
