KKUx Platform Offering Specific Skill Courses during the Summer
The e-Learning Deanship at King Khalid University is proud to announce that it has launched the KKUx platform. The KKUx platform is an integral part of university-wide initiatives driven by Vision 2030. Open learning is a central component of KKUx which serves to bolster specific objectives of Vision 2030 in regards to providing learning opportunities to acquire the necessary skills and competencies driving the labor market. The main aim of the platform is to contribute effectively in providing essential skills in the form of high global quality electronic content for future jobs.
This initiative is considered the first of its kind at the level of Saudi universities in terms of focusing on 'skills of the future.' It is also based on Vision 2030's theme of A Thriving Economy and its subtheme of Learning for Working. The skills and competencies of our young men and women are an important asset which KKUx aims to improve.
The KKUx platform at King Khalid University will hold the three specific skill courses as follows:
- "The Basics of Establishing New Companies" in the period starting from 24/7/2017 to 24/8/2017
- "Road to IELTS" in the period starting from 24/7/2017 to 24/8/2017
- "Design Thinking" " in the period starting from 1/10/2017 to 1/11/2017
