The Medical City at King Khalid University in Abha announces its need to enter into "qualification and training" contracts with physicians, pharmacists, and non-physician specialists under the self-operating program, in order to enable them to undertake training and specialization to work in the fields mentioned below. Applications will be made available through the link mentioned below. Applications will close on 22-08-1437 AH.
Application Requirements:
The applicant must be a Saudi national.
The applicant must not be bound by a contract with any other entity upon acceptance, or must undertake to provide a certified release letter from his or her employer within two weeks of acceptance.
The applicant must have been accepted into the required training program during the training year beginning in October 2016, or must have already started the training program, or completed the training program, for applicants to the position of
Resident or Senior Resident. An intern physician who has been accepted into the required training program may apply if all other requirements are met.
The applicant must agree to the condition of internal training (within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and to obtaining the fellowship or doctorate in the specialty stated in the contract, and must undertake to do so, as well as undertake to change the location of
training to outside (the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) if the Medical City deems that necessary.
The applicant must be fully available from the beginning of the training contract.
The applicant must be of good conduct and behavior and must not have been subject to a legal judgment or dismissal from a job or training program.
The resident physician must not be over the age of thirty (30), and the Medical City has the right to make an exception if the physician has successfully completed at least one year in the required program at the time of contracting.
The registrar physician must not be over the age of forty-two (42), and the Medical City has the right to grant an exception to this condition according to work interest.
The applicant must be medically and psychologically fit.
The applicant must apply for one specialty only.
The applicant must undertake to join the training program in the specialty within one year from the start of the contract.
The applicant must undertake to work at the Medical City of King Khalid University for a period equivalent to the period from the beginning of the contract until assuming the duties of the position in the specialty after obtaining the required fellowship or doctorate, or upon discontinuation of training.
