KKU represented by Deanship of Registration and Admission urged all students (males and females) who is willing to attend the university headquarter (Abha) or one of affiliated colleges in provinces of Assir Region to speed up filling out their applications. The Deanship also urges them to set their disciplines in order of priority on e-portal KKU )http://registration.kku.edu.sa/kku/init).

The Dean of Registration and Admission, Dr, Saad Bin Muhammad Bin Dajim confirmed the pursuit and care of the university to accommodate the sons and daughters of the region, and give them the opportunity to complete their academic education, with a commitment to the principle of justice and equality between applicants in all admission processes.

He also revealed that the university has completed the adoption of admission in Bisha for (males) in the faculties of Medicine and Engineering (Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering), as well as in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Ahad Rafidah, also the admission in English Department (females) will begin there. While in Abha, the admission in the College of Administration and Home Economic (females) will begin in Accounting B.A Programs.

He pointed to the number of students (males and females) on the E-portal for the academic year 1435/1436 AH has reached approximately (27 thousands applications) until the date of 2/8/1435 AH. Not that, the deadline for receiving the applications on e-portal is 22/8/1435 AH. He said, "No applications will be accepted after this date". He added, "the applicant must enter the basic data, validate it and arrange the desires in order of priority. Secondary School's grades will be sent by the Ministry of Education and at the same time, the National Center for Assessment and Evaluation will provide the university with highest grades obtained by the students in General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Educational Achievement Test (EAT)".

Dr, Dajim clarified that the candidacy for admission to new students (male and female) will go on three stages:

First Stage: For students who have gotten rate of between 80% to 100%, it will begin from Saturday 23/8/1435 AH to Tuesday 26/8/1435 AH. The university will guarantee for those students who have gotten these rates to be accepted in any B.A. programs according to their marks, the order of desires and the number of seats approved by the University Council.

Second Stage: : For students who have gotten rate of between 75% to 79.99%, it will begin on Tuesday 4/9/1435 AH. The university will guarantee for those students who have gotten these rates to be accepted in any B.A. regular programs.
