More than 700 Faculty Members Receive Advanced Training

The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality completed a series of training programs in the first academic semester of this year. This wide array of programs is designed to enhance our faculty members' skills and abilities. Topics included but were not limited to practical training in higher education, learning strategies, mind maps, technology in teaching, forming and evaluating learning outcomes, advanced strategies in teaching, critical thinking for students, preparing active program plans, and academic communication skills.

A total of 29 training programs and workshops were held during the semester. The male colleges hosted 14 different functions in which a total of 470 male faculty members participated. A total of 15 events were completed on the female campuses in which 322 female faculty members participated.

Vice Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajri, and Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Hessa Al-Melweth, all thanked Rector Al-Solamy for his dedication and continuing support for faculty development and performance improvement programs.
