King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research announced - as reported by QS World University Rankings and the US News and World Report - that 50% of KKU scholarship students are attending universities ranked in the top 200.

In his speech, Vice Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Saad Al-Amry, explained that the sponsorship, support, and encouragement provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince towards education is the driving force behind the unprecedented success. "Quality education and training are a major priority that underscores the strategic goals of the University led by Rector Al-Solamy," said Al-Amry.

Al-Amry added: "The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research initiated a scientific research excellence award for scholarship students that have recently returned. The ranking of the university granting the degree is central to the conditions of the award. We are keen on sending our scholarship students to highly ranked universities by organizing workshops and training sessions on the requirements."
