King Khalid University, represented by the College of Arts and Science in Dahran Al-Janoub, inaugurated a blood donation campaign dedicated to soldiers on the southern border. The campaign is supported and supervised by the province's hospital and will continue for three days. A remarkable number of participants from college faculty members, members of all government sectors, and local citizens poured in to help with the number of donors reaching 150 in the first hour alone.

Dean of the College of Arts and Science in Dahran Al-Janoub, Dr. Misfer Al-Wadai, explained that the campaign reflects the compassion and appreciation the locals feel towards soldiers on the border risking their lives to ensure the safety of the Kingdom.

With the 88^th Saudi National Day around the corner, King Khalid University was proud to be able to serve the community. Strengthening compassion, solidarity, cooperation and a sense of responsibility for society underpinned this campaign with many more on the way.
