The University has recently organized the National Photography Competition with a "Saudi in a Picture" theme. 60,000 riyals will be distributed to the top 5 competitors in all divisions, which include press photography and professional photography.

Commenting on the competition, which is part of the University's Saudi National Day Activities, Competition Technical Manager, Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Marzooq, explained that the competition aims to evoke a sense of nationalism and belonging among the faculty, staff, and students by celebrating the best imagery and photographers in the Kingdom for their creativity. He emphasized that this competition is unique in its size and influence and therefore further collaboration with related committees and associations are needed to initiate similar competitions and art events.

The competition will be accompanied by a gallery that will display the work of the participating contestants, in addition to lectures, activities and a special edition booklet. Professional photographers from the national and international settings will be included as honorary guests and will display their work alongside contestant submissions.

National Photography Competition 2018 is open to photographers from around the Kingdom. Each contestant is allowed to submit 3 original pieces of work. The last day for submissions is 1/1/1440 AH. For more details, click on the following link http://forms.kku.edu.sa/ar/812.
