King Khalid University recently ranked  301 internationally in the Times Higher Education Ranking, which measures universities' performance based on the United Nations 17 sustainable development goals.

On this occasion, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, explained that the University aims to become one of the top  200 universities by the year 2030. He also thanked the University Agency for Quality and Development, International Classifications Unit and all University entities for their efforts that led the University to achieve advanced positions in a number of classifications.

On his part, the University Vice President of Quality and Development, Dr. Murzin Al Shahrani, explained that the ranking proves the university's ability to implement the best practices in the field of higher education, and its ability to meet the National Vision of 2030. Al Shahrani also thanked His Excellency the University President and the Supervisor of International Classifications Unit, Dr. Sami Al Shehri, for their efforts.

Of note, the University took a 300 point leap from last year's classification, and is now within the top 200 universities in terms of good health, well being, cleanness and sources.
