Recycling Project at University
Students are used to throw their notebooks and summaries away, especially after finishing final tests.The Deanship of Students' Affairs Deanship at King Khalid University found a solution to the depletion of paper. The Deanship with this solution seeks the benefit to the community and the university.
The University has signed a contract with paper recycling company. The Deanship also saved 15 Paper container which has been distributed to all schools of the University City at Al-Jrijr, in addition to saving a central container in front of entrance No. 9 at building C, as a first stage of the project of paper recycling.
The project is a proof of the university keenness, represented by the Deanship of Students' Affairs, to keep the notebooks that contain the name of Allah or verses of Quran away from humiliation, in addition to having a clean environment in the university, and protect it from pollution.
It is noteworthy that The Deanship agreed with the company to recycle paper on financial ratio of this process which will be supplied to Student Fund in order to be spent on student services.
