University Hosts Female Driving Workshop

The university recently held a workshop for female drivers. Vice-Rector of Female Student Affairs, Dr. Khlood Abu Melha, organized the event, with Mrs. Badriya Al-Sharif presenting. The purpose of the event was to help females successfully and safely integrate into the Kingdom’s population of drivers.

 

The workshop covered a number of topics including motor vehicle technology and operation, road safety, traffic regulations and risk mitigation. The speaker also reviewed how females can obtain driver training, and the steps to getting a driver’s license. Assistant Dean, Dr. Abeer Mahfoz, explained that the workshop aimed to help women approach driving in an informed and confident manner. The university will be hosting similar workshops in the future.
