His Royal Highness Head of Asir Development Authority Patrons MoC Between KKU's Hospital and King Faisal Specialist Hospital
A cooperation agreement was signed in Riyadh between King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) and King Khalid University Hospital under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region and Head of Asir Development Authority.
At the signing, the Specialist Hospital was represented by His Excellency the CEO, Dr. Majed Al Fayyad, and the KKU's Hospital by His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al Solami.
The agreement states exchanging knowledge, experience, and skills in the fields of education, in addition to sharing clinical practices, work methods, and technologies, in order to support healthcare services in the university hospital. The agreement also enhances communication between government and private entities, in addition to assessing the operation needs of the university hospital, being a model for cooperation among national sectors to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
It is important to note that KFSHRC aims to support the accomplishment of the national objectives through strategic relationships on a local and worldwide level. Further, it is one of the most renowned hospitals in the world for providing specialized care; in fact, Brand Finance Classification recently ranked it 1st in the Middle East and Africa and 20th internationally among the top healthcare institutions for the year 2023.
