Acting University President Sponsors Cooperation Agreement between the Design Thinking Center and the Global Innovation Institute

King Khalid University, represented by the Design Thinking Center, recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Innovation Institute in the presence of His Excellency, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam. The Global Innovation Institute offers leading professional certification, accreditation and memberships in the field of innovation and business development.

The university was represented in the signing by the Director of the Design Thinking Center at the university, Dr. Naif bin Mohammed Jabali, while the Global Innovation Institute was represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Anthony Miles. 

The Director of the Design Thinking Center at the university, Dr. Naif bin Mohammed Jabali, explained that the program aims to enhance integration and cooperation between the university and the institute in developing training and professional certification programs. Through this agreement, the university will hold internationally-recognized training courses in Arabic and English; in addition to granting the Government Innovation Diploma to trainees who successfully complete the programs.

Jabali explained that the cooperation agreement with the Global Innovation Institute includes five professional certificates in the field of innovation. He explained that these certificates include the Certified Innovation Professional (CInP 2) certificate, the Certified Design Thinking Professional (CDTP 3) certificate, the Certified Innovation Strategist (CInS 4) certificate, and the Certified Innovation CEO (CCInO 5) certificate. He pointed out that this partnership is a strategic international partnership that aims to provide innovative training programs that contribute to the development and enhancement of national cadres, increase competitiveness in the kingdom’s labor market, and promote the culture of innovation in our society.
