The University and the General Directorate of Investigations sign a cooperation agreement
King Khalid University signed a cooperation agreement with the General Directorate of Investigations, represented by the General Investigations' Prison Department in Abha. The university was represented by His Excellency, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, while the General Directorate of Investigations was represented by the Director of Investigations for the Asir Region, Major General Turki bin Khalid Al-Bahli.
The agreement aims to provide the proper educational environment for students detained in the prisons of the General Directorate of Investigations, and to raise their educational and training capabilities, in line with the mission of the State Security Presidency and its affiliate entities to strengthen their roles.
The most prominent points in the agreement entail the following:
- Collaboration between the two parties to offer educational and training programs for inmates and staff.
- Granting accredited certificates to graduates in designated fields.
- Developing educational, academic, and training aspects to align with program needs.
- Organizing seminars, awareness programs, training courses, and consultations to develop the needed skills.
