KKU’s Family and Children Founding Day Event

On Tuesday, the 21st  of February, King Khalid University, represented by the Applied College and in cooperation with Abha Literary Club, organized an event celebrating the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day, which was catered towards children  and family programs.

 

Dr. Ahmed Al Murei, Dean  of the Applied College and head of Abha’s Literary Club, stressed that the event's focus was on defining  The Kingdom’s Founding Day and promoting the country's rich culture and the history of its civilization. The event agenda also included programs such as  "Our Leaders, Our Role Models", "Painting of a Nation" and "Think and Win" competitions, in addition to many other programs.

 

It is important to note that the university aimed through its Founding Day programs to strengthen its community engagement, as it held  collaborative events with a number of parties, in addition to hosting the three-day "Liwan" event, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture.
