On his own behalf and on behalf of the university's affiliates, students, and faculty, His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, extended his congratulations and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of the Founding Day. His Excellency expressed how this occasion inspires us to reflect on the journey of the Kingdom's establishment and the story of building this great nation.

He stated that the Founding Day, which we proudly commemorate on February 22nd of each year, reminds us of the exceptional transformational moment that took place in 1139 AH (1727 CE) when Imam Mohammad bin Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, declared the establishment of the first Saudi state. This marked the beginning of a new era of security and giving, announcing the establishment of a pioneering state that is now marching towards prosperity and sustainable development with steadfast steps and new aspirations.

Al-Solami highlighted those three centuries, filled with giving, knowledge, raising awareness, maintaining security, strengthening the economy, developing the nation, and focusing on its global political presence, until it has become a source of strength and influence. The ambitious Saudi Vision 2030 has come to transform the nation into an icon of work and activity, racing against time to achieve its goals and aspirations.

His Excellency clarified that this occasion comes to remind us, with pride and honor, of the stories of grandeur and immortal epics of glory. We draw inspiration from the meanings of our ancient civilization and our firm values, as well as the rich record of sacrifices, determination, and perseverance. We look forward to a bright future, in light of Saudi Vision 2030 and our national strategies that aim to achieve global competitiveness and sustainable development.

He concluded his statement by saying, "We are proud of this ancient past and deep-rooted civilization, as well as this present and the exceptional leaps it is witnessing in various fields. We are also proud of the sons and daughters of this great nation who have recorded an honorable record of work, giving, excellence, innovation, and achieving national goals. We are all determined to achieve the goals and aspirations, and we are all soldiers for this nation, doing everything we can to contribute to its development and progress and achieve the aspirations of its wise leadership. They have given us a lot, and they have been and will always be a great source of pride and honor for us."
