University President Inspects the Juniper Seedlines filed experiment
His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, visited the university plantation to inspect the Juniper seedling field development, which is one of the projects of the Forest Rehabilitation Project in Asir Region. Accompanying his excellency on the visit was the advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Prof. Ibrahim Aref
His Excellency commended the progress he witnessed, he also stressed the importance of environmental initiatives which support a healthy and clean environment. On her part the director of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for Research, Tourism and Environmental Studies Dr. Rahma Al Shahrani explained that the center plans on implementing the experiments to the Soud area after witnessing its success .
It's worth noting, that Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz center for Research, Tourism and Environmental Studies is responsible for supervising the forest rehabilitation project in Asir region, along side all associated initiatives and experiments.
