Following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education at Tehama launched a number of online activities and initiatives during quarantine.

Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shehri, said: "Responding to His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy's directive, we developed a planning policy to raise societal health awareness under the supervision of the Tehama Campus General Supervisor, Dr. Ahmed Atef Al-Shehri."

Parts of the initiative have already started with the distribution of educational programs and pamphlets, in addition to sending social media messages that show how to apply prevention procedures, monitor symptoms, accurately participate in social distancing, and home quarantine procedures.

The programs will encompass a variety of fields, including courses in the art of public dynamics, the role of rhetoric in human communication, and the art of family dynamics. Of note, 1,200 participants are scheduled to join.
