University libraries meeting to introduce their system to teaching staff and graduate studies students.

The Library Affairs Deanship of King Khalid University has arranged an introductory meeting for the new teaching staff and graduate studies students. The venue was at the University City, Abha. There was a presentation by the Dean of Library Affairs Deanship, Dr. saeed Bin Qasem Al-Khaldi, who gave a detailed explanation of the programs undertaken by the Deanship as well as the sector's future plans, which includes Search service, international databases, training courses, library archive, self-borrow, reference service, digital copy, available methods for databases search, in addition to discussing all that may concern both the teacher and the student.

Al-Khaldi also introduced briefly some information about the Deanship, such as establishment, and its vision in applying modern technology to serve as the paper book. He added that the Deanship was seeking to achieve an advanced position in that field, and the message of the Deanship was to strengthen the educational process in particular and elevate the cultural level for the community in general.

Al-Khaldi described the Central Library as the heart of the university. He used the occasion to announce the launching the new headquarter of the Deanship, which will containing many services that are helpful and relevant to the educational process, such as searching for any book that is on shelve.
