University Libraries Affairs Deanship organizes a meeting to welcome new faculty members and graduate Studies students.

The Library Affairs Deanship of King Khalid University is setting up an introductory meeting to welcome new members of the teaching staff and graduate studies students. The meeting which is set to start at 11.00 O'clock will end at 12.30 p.m. The date is Wednesday the 21/12/1435 AH, and the venue will be the Central Stands, University City, Abha.

The meeting, which will be conducted by the Dean of Library Affairs Deanship, Dr. Saeed Bin Qasem Al-Khalidi, will deliberate on the programs delivered by the Deanship, as well as the sector's future plans.  Also included in the deliberations will be the service of searching in the international databases, training courses, library archive, self-borrow, reference service, Digital Copy, and ways to use search in databases. In short, the meeting is expected to cover all that may concern, as well as serve, the faculty members and the student.

Dr. Al-Khalidi informed that the meeting came within the series of lectures that the Deanship of Library Affairs lately intends to implement in order to introduce stated services to the faculty members, and to the students, with the intention of making them capable of using such services, in addition to introducing the Saudi Digital library. Consequently, "we will be able to meet the needs of beneficiaries, as well as emphasize the role of the Deanship of Library Affairs in transferring knowledge". Moreover, Al-Khalidi emphasized on the need to encourage university students and employees to visit the university libraries, so as to take advantage of provided services.
