University wins Abha Award for Scientific Researches and Studies

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, won the Abha award for the year 1434/1435 AH at the branch of culture (the Field of Scientific Research and Studies). It comes within the framework of the scientific mobility that is witnessed by the university during last years.

 

On this occasion, the President of King Khalid University Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawoud thanked and appreciated the Prince of Asir region, the Chairman of the Abha Award Council, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz, for the honor given to the university by this award, which is considered a source of pride for the employees of the university. His Excellency said that it was not surprising to his Highness, who lets us get used to supporting the university and its academic, cultural and social projects and achievements.

In this regard, the Dean of Scientific Research, and the Secretary General of the Council of Scientific Chairs at the University, Dr. Eid Bin Lafi Al-Otaibi, expressed his happiness on this occasion, which is the culmination of great efforts that take place in the university in the field of scientific research. This will lead to further efforts in the field of scientific research. He also congratulated the President of the University and all the employees of the Scientific Research at the university.

It is noteworthy that the award ceremony will be held on Wednesday evening on the 20th of Shaaban at the King Fahd Cultural Center at Al-Moftaha.
