Academic development delegation at King Khalid University Visiting the universities of King Saud and Al Imam

 

 

Quality and Academic Development Deanship at King Khalid University did recently a visit to  the universities of King Saud and the Islamic University of Al Imam Mohammed Bin Saud in order to  strengthen bonds among the Saudi Universities and exchange experiences between Quality Deanship at King Khalid University and others in other Saudi Universities. The delegation of the deanship which included the Vice President of Quality Deanship, Dr.Merzan Alshahrani and the Vice President of Development Deanship, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hagry visited Development Deanship at King Saud University to have a look on the steps of the strategic plan of the university and what Initiatives Unit is exerting to encourage students and the teaching staff to present creative and ideas and projects. Through the visit of Quality Deanship, the delegation realized current projects, one of the prominent projects is Electronic Quality Administration System in addition to King Saud university situation concerning programmatic and institutional accreditation internally and externally. Finally, they recognized the efforts of skills improvement deanship in the field of training teaching staff.

During the visit to the Islamic University of  Al Imam Mohammed Bin Saud, the delegation has a look on teaching staff training mechanisms at the Development Deanship which included preparing a team of trainers out of the teaching staff after having an intensive training course for a month in on of the Australian Universities. Also, they have a look on Quality Deanship efforts regarding academic accreditation and strategic planning.
