Academic Development and Quality Deanship to Hold Comprehensive Training Programs for Teaching Staff

The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality is arranging numerous training courses in the current University year for both men and women. The training courses aim at improving the skills of the teaching staff at King Khalid University. Furthermore, the training courses aim at spreading the quality culture university-wide. Indeed, a number of courses have been implemented such as Quality Guarantee which was submitted by the Vice-President of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship, Dr. Saeed bin Saad Al-Hady, and attended by Deans, Vice-Deans, and Coordinators. During the course, Dr. Al-Hady reviewed the standards of the institutional and academic accreditation. He also praised some of the programs presented in the university, which have stepped forward to obtain programmatic accreditation. 

The program will include a training workshop on the program itself. It is, in fact, one of the most important programs in the creative thinking learning programs. In addition, the workshop will present the program tools, conduct practical demonstrations, and complete technical exercises.

Given these points, His Excellency, the Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hajiri, confirmed that the training program comes as part of the University's strategic plan to initiate systematic and comprehensive training programs in order to enhance the skills and academic abilities of teaching staff in the university. He added that the program includes many areas such as quality and accreditation, human resource development, and teaching strategies of modern methodologies.
