Chemistry school to re-establish its academic program.

King Khalid University (KKU) has formed a teamwork from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, to establish a new academic program for the bachelor degree. The program is going to be taught in the chemistry departments of the faculties of Science at the University, with a view to a comprehensive development carried out by the university in the fields of education, learning, scientific research, and community service.

The new academic program fulfills quality in local and global education and learning academic accreditation standards. Evaluation methods are conducted by an experienced international consultant team, in collaboration with the National Commission for Evaluation and Academic Accreditation in the Kingdom, which reviews and constructs the program.

The program holders also aim to meet labor market requirements of knowledge and competitive skills. Moreover, the holders always try to provide distinctive sources of education including teaching staff, equipping laboratories, classrooms, in addition to the establishment of a sustainable partnership with employers in the fields of chemistry to provide training opportunities, employment, and the establishment of twinning with similar programs outside the Kingdom, and the provision of specialized courses in the program.

It is noteworthy that the teamwork has created a website aimed at the definition of the academic program, as well as to communicate with employers in the field of chemistry in the public and private sectors, in order to study the needs of the labor market, and then to include it in the courses of the academic program.
