7491 beneficiaries from the programs and courses of the Deanship of Community Service.

The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education of King Khalid University (KKU) has carried out a number of educational programs and courses, and applied diplomas for the year 1435/1436 AH. The number of beneficiaries has reached 7,491 employees, from the university and from outside it. Also the number of participants in the educational diplomas reached 1,162 from both sexes, and the number of participants in the Applied diplomas in Deanship headquarters in Abha, Bisha, Majardh, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Belkarn, and Sarat Obeida reached 441, with 38 male students and 403 female students.

Based on the University's role in serving the community, 45 training course were conducted. The courses targeted a number of Building Security employees, the Directors of governmental departments in Asir, the employees of Asir passport, and others. The number of participants has reached the 5,888. The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education also participated in the awareness, educational and health forums that were held in Tehama Asir, in addition to employment and the Saudi rehabilitation forums. Moreover, the Deanship participated in the Gulf Traffic Week, under the slogan "Your decision determines your destiny", the Civil Defense Week, and the Unified Gulf week to promote oral health to highlight its awareness and social role.
