Faculty of Engineering celebrates its 14th anniversary.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of King Khalid University, Dr. Hussein Alwadei has sponsored the activities of "Engineer's Day" ceremony, which was held in conjunction with the Faculty's celebration of its 14th anniversary. The ceremony witnessed the opening of the exhibition of outstanding students' projects, which contained 20 outstanding project at the Faculty level.
Dr. Alwadei gave a word in which he confirmed that the Faculty of Engineering, since its inception was moving at a steady pace and with a clear vision towards success and excellence. The Dean praised the King Khalid University Rector's unwavering support to the faculty in particular. He further praised the brilliant faculty members, in addition to the effective role of the faculty's Engineering Club.
For his part, the Supervisor on the student activities of the Faculty, Eng. Osama Msheebh explained that the Club oversaw the establishment of a number of qualifying developmental courses in the engineering work market. Such courses included a course in the art of writing a CV for personal interviews, and a course in engineering management, in addition to the default interviews program.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, outstanding students were honored at the faculty level. Moreover, the students of the Engineering Club were honored, in addition to the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Habash Al Merra.
It is noteworthy that more than 500 student took advantage of the activities of "the Engineer's Day".
