Businessman, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of DEBLCO Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holy Quran Memorization Society in Khamis Mushait, and Vice President of the Ikram Society for the Preservation of food.  Al-Qahtani is also a member of a number of councils, associations and institutions, including the Asir Region Emirate Council, a member of the Tourism and Economic Committee of the Region Council, a member of the Supervisory Committee for Applied Colleges at King Khalid University, member of the Akaber Committee for the Elderly in Asir, member of the Social Development Society in Khamis Mushait Governorate, and the Karama Committee for Care of Cemeteries. He is also member of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Office for Dawah, member of the Guidance and Awareness of Communities in the Khamis Mushayt Governorate Prison, and member of the Khamis Mushayt Governorate Development Committee, and a participant in many seminars and workshops in many different fields such as reconciliation committees in tribal and social disputes.
