College of Arts and Sciences in Almajardah Organizes "Towards a Digital Society" Project
King Khalid University, represented by the College of Arts and Sciences in Almajardah, recently organized the "Towards a Digital Society" project, which aimed to enhance technical excellence and the culture of technology among members of society.
Dr. Maha Al-Shehri, Dean of Almajardah's College of Arts and Sciences, explained how the initiative's concept was embodied in training sessions and workshops, which attempted the effectiveness of digital knowledge in society and raised awareness of the use of digital technology on a cultural and intellectual level. She also described how hospital staff could translate medical terms using computers, in addition to solving mathematical problems for middle and secondary school students.
It is worth noting, that the initiative included more than 26 training courses, benefiting more than 9,800 beneficiaries.
