University President Meets Representatives of the National Anti-Narcotics Committee
His Excellency King Khalid University Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, received , yesterday, Monday the 30th of August, the representatives of the National Anti-Narcotics Committee, in a meeting that included the Director of the Follow-up and coordination administration, team members from the region Narcotics Committee, Chairman of the Qat Control Committee, Counselor Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Shehri, the Director of the Studies and Information Department, Dr. Sulaiman bin Muhammad Al-Luhaidan, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Sultan Hussain Al-Fardan, and Youssef Al-Otaibi.
During the visit, they discussed ways of cooperation between the two parties to carry out research and studies on the drug Qat and to formulate policies to protect against its use while raising awareness of its harms and dangers.
The meeting was attended by the University's Vice president of Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid Majdoua Al-Qarni, and the Director of the Center of Research and Social Studies, Dr. Ali Marzouq Al-Shahrani.
