University President Chairs the Executive Meeting for the First Transition Stage to the New Campus
King Khalid University Vice President Prof. Mohammad bin Hamid Al Behairi recently chaired the first executive meeting at the university city headquarters in Al-Fara’, in the presence of representatives of the project management, housing and relocation committees. During the meeting, the gradual transition plan was discussed and the mechanisms that ensure an easy transition without any risks or difficulties.
On His part Al-Buhairi said, “There will be unified operation rooms that supervise and coordinate all efforts aimed to ensure an easy and quick transfer, and pave the way for the second stage transition in order to achieve a stable start for the next academic year, and to achieve an optimal order of education and administrative operation.
After the meeting, the Vice Rector and a number of its leaders toured a group of ready-made facilities, including the university administration, staff offices, meeting rooms, the mosque, and the exhibition and conference center.
After the meeting the university vice president and his accompanying delegation toured the campus to view the latest developments and to assure that all projects are inline with this Royal Highness the governor of Asir region Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz, may God protect him, who is following all projects and university developments .
Al Behairi , continued to say "The university is on the verge of a transition to a more prepared academic environment, and this transition, God willing, will be a prelude many important scientific, academic and societal achievements."
