Graduation Projects Exhibition for Engineering Students

His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, stressed the importance of the engineering students' graduation projects, and all other students equally, since it represents the core of their achievements, and implements the skills and information they learned during their college years, and contributes to form engineering projects that have practical and economic benefits.

He added that knowledge economy and investments are the most welcoming fields in the job market today, which is a great opportunity for fresh graduates to contribute to the economic growth of the Kingdom, in order to achieve the goals of 2030 Vision.

During an exhibition for Engineering students' graduation projects, His Excellency patronized the event and stressed that the College of Engineering has many achievements and academic accreditation and is always working to improve its educational and research outcomes, adding that the public and private sectors' interest in attracting the graduates of the College of Engineering proves the college's excellence.  

Al Solami added that the exhibition and all other events ensure the University's keenness on keeping up with the latest educational developments, and showcasing student talents to businessmen and employers. His Excellency praised the graduation projects for their creative ideas and quality performance.

On his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Al Misfer, stressed the College's keenness on empowering its students and improving their skills, assuring that many employees and students of the College participated in many initiatives and businesses nationally and internationally.

The event started briefing the University’s President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, and the Dean and members of the College of Engineering on the achievements of the College during the past years, and the numbers of accredited programs and published papers which contributed to the College ranking internationally, according to the Times rankings.

During the event, many graduation projects were presented, and at the end of the event, His Excellency the University President honored excellent researchers, units, students and employees, while the Dean of the College presented  the University President with a gift that was made in the laboratories of the College of Engineering.

It's worth noting that the College of Engineering presented many  initiatives during the past period, one of which is a successful initiative to make and improve preventive tools against Covid-19 , the college is also working to launch a virtual forum entitled "How to Build your Own House." on the 17th of April 2021.
