University President receives members of the board of directors of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society.

During a meeting with members of the board of directors of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society,

King Khalid University President: It is important to activate the role of the pharmacy club in the community. 

His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood​, President of King khalid University, has stressed on the importance of activating the role of pharmaceutical club in the community, and on working to change professional status of pharmacist on training, so that the profession of pharmacy - which is one of the most important professions - could be improved.

The above assertion has asserted on Wednesday morning, the 22/11/1435 AH when Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood​ received the officials of the society in his office. They included Chairman of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, Prof. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Saraa, the Chairman of the Membership Committee in the Provinces, Colonel Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the chairman of the Events Committee Lieutenant Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Muzaini, the Chairman of Public Relations Committee, the pharmacist Abdullatif bin Saad Alaqifa, the Dean of Pharmacy College of the University Dr. Adel Ben Ali Hazzani, and the College Vice - President, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Alqtherda. 

At the occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the society, Dr. Al-Saraa, thanked the University President and appreciated his care and interests in launching the Pharmacy Club, which is scheduled to take place in October, and the event is set to coincide with the Pharmaceutical Profession Day, with the participation of the University representatives.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al-Saraa presented the first constitutional document, dating back to 1345 AH, which describes the plan of the founder King Abdulaziz, and the profession of pharmacy.  His Excellency was also briefed on the educational scientific magazine, the fourth edition, which is issued by the Assembly.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society is the corporate body that represents pharmacists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is responsible for framing guidelines for the pharmacist, and for setting modality for direct contribution in planning and development.
